Sai Instituteof Medical Sciences is the premier organization for technology in education, “Providing leadership and service to improve teaching and learning by advancing the effective use of technology in education”.Sai Instituteof Medical Sciences is involved in coordinating various quality improvement programmes and organizing summer/winter school programmes for teachers and students. Various Clubs have been organized in SIMS with an aim to build self esteem, self worth, elegance, grace, strength and intellect.
The Cultural Club of Sai Instituteof Medical Sciencesaims at helping the students to understand and accept themselves ‘as they are’ and helps the students to help themselves. The main objective of the club is to bring about a voluntary change in the students. For this purpose, the teachers and management provide facilities to achieve the desired changes or to make the suitable choices.
This club is a major center of attraction especially during cricket matches with the perfect ambience and sound system which makes watching cricket matches a really wonderful experience. A rink just outside the students club an ideal place for celebration of various festival during college fest.
The literary club is a paradise for thinkers, readers, and writers. It is the place where students are free to think, read and write on the topics of their interest and choice. The club is also a forum where students share their insights on politics, philosophy, spirituality, philanthropy etc.
Corporate Social Responsibility has always been an integral part of us. In a view to contribute its share towards the society, the management of has undertaken several initiatives towards the benefit of the Society at large under different initiatives.
Co-curricular activities are non-academic activities that all students of Sai Instituteof Medical Sciences. This policy was introduced by the government as means to enhance social interaction, leadership, healthy recreation, self-discipline and self-confidence among the students. Sai Instituteof Medical Sciences, considers not only the cognitive development of its students but also the other aspects of their personality as equally significant to be developed and nurtured. To enhance the students' all-round development and cultivate varied interest, a strong academic foundation is complemented with a rich selection of co-curricular activities. These activities form a regular part of the college curriculum and a spirit of healthy competition is generated through inter Institute competitions.
Mentor Mentee Program is an essential component for a successful career as it bridges the gap between the faculties and students. Mentoring provides students emotional and instrumental support, guidance, encouragement and better environment in college. A mentor plays a vital role in nurturing students and has a positive impact on students’ persistence and academic achievement. A mentee can approach his / her mentor for both educational and personal guidance. It is conducted to help the students to strengthen their varied capabilities and to build an interpersonal relationship between the faculties and students.
